Over the summer, we have managed to unpack and get settled into the new house. And upon doing so, we’ve discovered the need for some small projects and upgrades. There ought to be a saying: “Buy a house that doesn’t need work, because even a house that doesn’t need work… will need some work!”
The first order of business has preparing the guest apartment. In addition to furnishing and decorating, we’ve made some safety and comfort upgrades, including smoke detectors and ventilation. Because who doesn’t like to take on some micro-demolition?

I hope the next post will inform you that we are up and running as your friendly neighborhood Burgundy guesthouse!
